Becoming a Member is Easy!

At Meridian Credit Union, you’re more than an account number – you’re an owner. As a member-owned financial cooperative, our focus is on empowering our members’ financial success, building lasting relationships, and strengthening our communities.

Who Can Join?

If you live or work in the following Iowa counties:

  • Appanoose
  • Davis
  • Jefferson
  • Keokuk
  • Mahaska
  • Monroe
  • Van Buren
  • Wapello

Or if you have an immediate family member who is already a Meridian Credit Union member.

What You'll Need

Opening your membership account is simple!

To get started, please bring:

  • A valid government-issued photo ID
  • Your Social Security Card
  • The required initial deposit to establish your membership account.
